Traditionally the SUS301 grade of stainless steel is being used. But as speeds and demands increased, customers have been searching for better quality materials to create their dents. That's where SUS420J2 stainless steel was introduced. This high-quality material has become increasingly popular in the market due to its superior properties and ability to create flawless dents.
This material is an amalgamation of carbon, chromium, and manganese, which endows it with the composite property of strength and high wear resistance. Our SUS 420J2 Martensitic with Ferritic Consolidates 400 Series is the ideal choice for reeds that require superior strength and wear resistance. This material is highly resistant to corrosion, which ensures long-lasting durability. Additionally, our in-house manufacturing process guarantees that the reeds produced from our dents are of the highest quality, ensuring that you get the best value for your investment.
The hardening process of grade 420 stainless steel involves uniform heating at 960 to 980°C, followed by air or oil quenching. There is a basic difference between SUS301 and SUS 420J2.
